Jean-Pierre Dufour, M.D. - President
Dr Dufour received his first medical degree in France, where he practiced family medicine for 3 years. He then moved to California where he received his second MD degree and practiced as a family and urgent care physician for 27 years. In his 30 years of medical practice, Dr. Dufour has dedicated his services to the health of families and communities, pioneering free immunization programs, breast cancer screenings, low-cost physical examinations for the youth, and promoting physical activity. He was an early sponsor and supporter of the Huntington Beach "Sea and Sun Run," now the yearly Huntington Beach Marathon. He coached roller hockey to youth teams for 14 years. He is also a diving medicine (DAN) physician.

Stephanie Dufour - Secretary
Stephanie is an insurance broker, specializing in non-profit work. Her dedication to community service is obvious through her ties with many local non-profit organizations. An avid surfer and mother of three, Stef works tirelessly to improve the well-being of communities around her.

Marie T. Dufour, R.D., FACMPE - Treasurer
Marie's early career as a medical group administrator spans from French hospitals, to medical practices on both sides of the Atlantic, to managing medical groups in California. During her 30 year career, she could be seen at health fairs, schools, business groups and sports team meetings, conducting prevention and education workshops. She also pioneered low-cost mammograms, weight loss support groups and free immunization programs for children and the elderly.
Convinced that overweight and obesity are at the root of the great majority of today's illnesses, and aware of their spiraling and crushing cost, Marie decided to dedicate a second career to the prevention of obesity. She received a degree in Nutrition from Cal. State Long Beach, is a registered dietitian, and contributed to the publication of a community nutrition textbook.
